The Tree

We heard about a U-cut Christmas Tree farm
with a wonderful deal--
any tree for $25.
We'll take that.
The grandpa's that owned the place were really sweet
and loaded us up with candy canes and cocoa.
And we found a perfect tree.

D's contribution was whacking the tree with a saw cover.

The next day was for tree decorating!
But first we needed to do a little bit
of couch jumping.

And chair sitting.

Ready!

Yeah for Christmas trees!

Double Date

How lucky I am to be able to step out to the theater
with not just one, but two
handsome men.

It was a play
performed by 2nd-5th graders.
An amazingly talented group of kids.
It was pretty impressive.
Kyler says never,
but Kacin now thinks
he might like to try his hand at theater sometime.

But until that time when he is on the stage,
I think he is pretty content
being in the audience
munching on Halloween candy.

Kyler's Wolf

He earned it with more than a month to spare before turning 9 and become a Bear. Congrats, Kyler, on earning your Wolf!

Zoo Lights

This Christmas month
I am feeling
determined
no matter how long it takes
to load everyone into the car
or how crazy it is to keep every one content
or how often we have to eat out
because I am too busy loading up diaper bags and helping with homework and managing behavior
to cook anything
no matter
We are getting out
and enjoying the festivities of the season.

First adventure:
Zoo Lights
which included "snow" falling, indoor snowmen and snowball fights, lights, reindeer, and a few animals
