our dear family and friends

There are so many wonderful people in arizona. We have siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends from college, friends from high school and even before. I wish we could see them all when we visit! But it doesn't matter how much time we have when we are down there it is never enough time. It makes me wish more and more that a move to arizona was in our future (which it's not. in my foreseeable future. yet.).

One of my favorite parts of the trip was seeing cousins play with cousins.

We loved visiting with grandma mary one afternoon.

I was soo happy to meet up with a few friends from high school and see their cute kids (even though it was insane trying to keep track of all those kids in that crazy park!).

Kacin and I fought over who would get to hold baby Logan first. We were so excited to finally hold him. And then he proceeded to spit up on me. He did that just about every time I held him thereafter. Good thing he is so cute!

E's birthday

Another year older.

Thirty-three years of life has made him the most amazing person I know. He works hard, unselfishly gives, and makes each day fun around our house. There couldn't be a better father, husband, and man than this.

We celebrated on a sunday in arizona with dinner with family, pumpkin pie for dessert, and presents. I took him to the Marvel Experience the next day to wrap up his birthday celebration.

We tried to gather for a family birthday picture.

Then we noticed Kyler's failed attempt at bunny ears. oops.

So we tried again.

Not happening.

Nope.

We love you, E! Happy birthday!!

Tucson and a motorycle

My dad decided he wanted to buy a motorcycle. With a side car. We were supportive of that as long as it happened while we there so we could get in a few rides. :)

He found one he wanted to look out down in Tucson. We decided to all go along so we could also sneak in a visit with my Uncle Randy.

Randy took us to feed his neighbor's horse.

Perry was quite frightened.

We hiked a short ways along a trail in beautiful az mountains.

The rock collector . . .

We headed back to Phoenix after eating Mexican food. Throughout the rest of the week, we went on lots of motorcycle rides around my parents neighborhood.

Perry went missing for a few minutes one day. Where did we find him? In the garage on Papa's motorcycle. He had his backpack packed and resting on the back. He had his fake key in the ignition. He was holding onto those handles and he was ready to go.
